I am out of contract for a while. Following the FAQ, I called Rentention and asked for credit toward a new phone. They told me the only thing available is the rebate offer for existing customer that requires a plan of $35 and more. I am on the $30 plan offered in Dec 2002. Am I ...

| A500 replacement.... | 21 Apr 2004 20:48 GMT | 11 |
I love my A500 (size, sound quality, case is resistant to scratching, NO camera), but I've just recently moved to a fringe area of coverage in Las Vegas, and I'm dropping calls all the time. Since I use this phone for business, dropping calls is not an option.

| MSN Mobile alerts | 21 Apr 2004 14:00 GMT | 6 |
At work, I have a RL2000 that is activated on the Austin CSA. Seems the previous owner of this number signed up for a number of MSN alerts. We get over a dozen alerts a day. I don't want to pester people at our corporate offices over something silly like this, but I'd like it all ...

| Nokia 3588i impressions? | 21 Apr 2004 02:04 GMT | 12 |
I recently added a new line of service on my account and opted for the Nokia 3588i because I did not need any Vision bells and whistles on the secondary line. What is the overall opinion of this phone? Does it hold a signal well? Is it reliable as far as sms text messaging goes?

This FAQ is in no way authored by Sprint Spectrum, Sprint or Sprint PCS unless otherwise expressly noted. By reading on, you agree that you are fully aware of this. I see many questions asked repeatedly about rate plans, and thought an "Unofficial Retention FAQ" was in order. I ...

| Can you use a VGA1000 as a modem without using VISION? | 20 Apr 2004 18:12 GMT | 2 |
I am not planning on keeping VISION, but would like to use the phone as a modem. Speed does not matter, since it would be very light occasional use. Can you use a VGA1000 as a modem without using VISION? If so, how?
