Dumb question from a newbie....18 Apr 2004 04:49 GMT9
Can I get a Sprint phone and have the same coverage as a Verizon
customer (according to many folks, Verizon has the best coverage where
I live, DC area)?  I read somewhere that Verizon and Sprint allow
their customers to roam on each others network.  If this is true, why
Ready Link question18 Apr 2004 03:44 GMT2
I just bought a RL2000 last week and although I don't know anyone else that
has a ready link phone I want to know if there is a charge for using the
ready link feature. Do I have to pay extra per month for RL or since I have
a RL phone I can just use it when I know others that have ...
Anyone has a shared plan having more than 5 phones?17 Apr 2004 22:36 GMT2
I currently have 5 phones sharing one 2000 AT plan. I was told by more than
one CS person that I can have up to 10 phones in my account. But I wonder if
the phone that I am going to add can share the plan that I am having. I am
confused about this because the answer that I got ...
I will miss you Sprint17 Apr 2004 21:06 GMT24
I will miss you Sprint. Quite a while ago I got the 300 minutes for 30
dollar a month plan.. Now MY phone is gone. I can not qualify for the 18
month option because my plan is fewer than 35 dollars so I either pay full
price for a phone or have no phone. I was so loyal bye
Help! Kyocera 2255 Screen Blanking out17 Apr 2004 19:56 GMT12
My old Kyocera 2255 (which I just reactivated yesterday because I can't
afford existing customer prices on phones) has developed a problem as of
late.  The screen will blank out periodicallyand I have to do a hard
reset (i.e. take the battery off and replace) to get it to turn back ...
What's the insurance replacement for Uproar these days?17 Apr 2004 18:23 GMT23
I'm having my samsung uproar mp3 phone replaced under the lockline
insurance program, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what they pretend
is equivalent these days?
(I've read the old posts on this, but the most recent was over a year

sanyo rl250017 Apr 2004 13:35 GMT5
This is odd, I was surfing the sprint site, they no longer have the sanyo
rl2500 posted anymore.  Did this go bye bye already? Also saw that
phonescoop has the rl4920 from sanyo listed, what's general time line for
something showing up on FCC site and then coming out?  I'm surprised ...
Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM450017 Apr 2004 02:54 GMT13
I bought this phone today and it rocks.  I couldn't be happier.  I went from
a SCP-4900 to this one.  I'll miss the 4.5 hour talk time on the 4900 but
for the features I can't go wrong with this one.  I decided to use it as a
modem so I could surf the net and it went pretty quick as ...

Yesterday SprintPCS had a press release, in unambiguous language it said:
"The new phone is available nationwide in Sprint Stores and online at
www.sprintpcs.com for $129.99 after rebates (SRP: $279.99)."
Looking to buy an 4900 or A50016 Apr 2004 20:10 GMT4
Thanks to Executive Services (and yes, I did try *2 a couple different
times to no avail), I am a Sprint PCS customer again.  Those people at
ES are *extremely* nice and understanding... my situation was a long and
complex one, but the woman (I failed to get her name) was very very

#777.  can someone verify that this is the correct number if i have vision.  it
wont be using my minutes right?
Vision?16 Apr 2004 04:03 GMT2
I do not have Vision. I do on occasion have to send a picture or an e mail.
I was told that I could do that without vision but when I do The email does
not get thru and I get charged. Can I just buy the email part of vision? Do
I need to spend the whole 15 dollars?
Repair frustrations update!15 Apr 2004 19:06 GMT27
Was in the neighborhood, so I dropped by the Sprint store to ask for them to
fix my phone one last time. I told the CSR on duty about my issues, he
looked at some papers with barcodes all over them (couldn't read what was on
it though), and then decided to give me a replacement.
Lexington, KY - To many towers, not enough talking15 Apr 2004 18:06 GMT5
I've noticed that Lexington, KY seems to have good signal coverage, but
calls are being dropped during handoffs betweens towers.  Doesn't happen all
the time, but often enough.
I don't think it's a capacity issue as it happens at midnight as well as
