Does anyone have any actual, direct experience with any of these data cables
for the Toshiba VM-4050, and with the software that comes bundled with any
of them? Are they all pretty much the same, interchangeable and usable with
all phone-PC apps, including web access, contact and ...

Dropping calls30 May 2004 11:04 GMT3
Can anyone tell me what might be going on? In the past two to three weeks,
my phone will only keep a call going for less than a minute. Literally I
often have only 10 seconds before it hangs up. The signal is strong
according to the bars and the battery is fully charged. I don't ...
Whats the story on hold times?30 May 2004 05:17 GMT3
We dont have to get into post counting to see if there are more or less
posts and by whom about hold times. Sprint PCS employees who post here
know the exact numbers and dont have the throw off "I havent seen a lot
of posts about hold times" to fake an answer.
Secret Network Outage at SprintPCS - Houston, TX 5/27/0429 May 2004 20:38 GMT1
So last evening at 7 PM, I'm basically unable to make calls, getting
"Network Busy" 9 out of 10 times. I finally call *2, but am told "Wait
time of over 15 minutes", so I wait and called in at 6 AM Friday when
the wait time is less. And I get a different story from every CSR,

So I'm a happy guy with my new A680, except that I can't figure out

No manual came with it, just the booklet on activation.
I need a manual!!  The booklet claims it is available for download

As I posted in another thread, I am considering ordering the
discontinued Sanyo 4700 from a monthly-prepay company that uses the
SPCS network and apparently still has a supply of brand-new 4700's and
4900's (Some other prepaid companies offer them, but

Screensavers: Do they really save your screen?29 May 2004 16:37 GMT3
I was wondering that in this day and age of technology, do the
screensavers that you can buy from various service providers... do they
really "save" your screen?  I remember in the old days when you could
get screen burn from some image or text being displayed on a moniter for
Can I do better than a phone rebate?29 May 2004 14:04 GMT2
At the risk of seeming like the lazy-a.s that I am, I'm going
to throw this question to anyone who feels like offering an opinion
here.
Right now I have two phones over 18 months old. According to
