Data cable/Sync software questions25 May 2004 22:55 GMT5
Ok, so I just got a new Toshiba VM-4050 phone and like it a lot. Now I want
to buy a data cable and, if necessary, sync software for it so I can connect
it to a computer--for *occasional* use, of course. But I'm confused by all
the options available:
Sprint is dinging my credit due to their error and will not fix it - any ideas?25 May 2004 22:05 GMT5
I found out that Sprint is dinging my credit for a deliquency.
I called Sprint to find out that they had incorrectly charged a
cancellation fee on an old account. They have since corrected this in
their system and insist that I don't owe them any money.
Contact Sync for Motorola V60V?25 May 2004 21:46 GMT2
I recently purchased a V60V, and got quite a surprise when I went in
search of a contact sync cable.  Not only is the phone's connector
different than what Motorola uses for most V60 (and other modern)
phones, but it appears unique to the V60V.

No camera (too bad) but will report if it pulls in a signal as well as
my older TimePort.
Is there a list somewhere of wireless websites?25 May 2004 13:48 GMT1
I have a Vision phone and I want to find a list of all the sites that are
available to users of Vision.   I would like to know if there are other
sites other then the ones listed on the menu that would be helpful to me.
I am also interested in knowing if there is any site or ...

I found one of these units that mounts on a Handspring Visor and makes
it a phone. Are these still supported by Sprint and useable. Anyone
using one of these?
Thanks,
FT: verizion kyocera 6035 for Sprint version of same phone25 May 2004 03:11 GMT9

I have a real problem hearing with this phone and after upgrading the soft
ware its no better. If I was Sanyo or Sprint, I would offer me an allowance
on a phone with a better earpiece in order to keep me as a happy Sanyo and
Sprint customer, but alas that type of thinking is old ...

Receivng calls on an "area wide" plan outside your "local calling area"24 May 2004 19:08 GMT3
With regard to Sprint's "area-wide" plans, can anyone confirm from their own experience that receiving a call while traveling outside your "local calling area" is billed at $0.50 per minute?  I would expect calls placed from outside your "local calling area" would be billed at $0 ...

Frustrated with SPCS - *LONG* time customer.24 May 2004 18:21 GMT16
I've been with Sprint for a long time.. And when I mean A long time,
I'm saying I started with Sprint PCS in 1997. I've stuck with them
through tons of ups and downs -- the absolutely atrocious customer
service period of 1999-2000, and generally have been pretty lenient
Telemarketing coming to a phone near youi.24 May 2004 16:37 GMT3
Any information on the directory for cell phones?
You will have your cellphone number listed in a national database.
I called Sprint and they didn't know about it.
Keep you eyes and ears on this.  Verizon is possibily not going to let
