quiet ringer in 7300 while closed13 May 2004 18:53 GMT3
Is there a way to quiet the ringer while the phone is closed? I've got
the phone set up to answer when I open it so accessing the 'quiet
ringer' option via the menu isn't possible. From what I see in the
manual it doesn't describe any other way to do this.
Porting nightmare, suggestions please?13 May 2004 18:09 GMT33
I initiated a WLNP port of a Verizon cellular number to Sprint PCS on
April 19. Verizon terminated service and released the number on April
30. Yet, to date, Sprint has not activated the new service. It is 23
days after initiating the process, and 11 days after Verizon released
what is the best web site to send SMS messages to any carrier from?13 May 2004 17:51 GMT3
I see there are plenty of sites out there, but I am wary of getting
spam on my or my friends PCS phones.  I just need a site to bookmark
that I can send SMS to Alltel, Cell One, Sprint PCS etc.
Thanks,

Still hoping and waiting that Sprint puts coverage up to Lewiston, Maine
area which is about an hour from Portland. Verizon is killing me with
their lack of 'new' phones.

OK, I have the phone and I got a USB cable today in the mail. I'd like to use my 'unlimited' Vision for some email checking via my laptop.'
I downloaded and installed the regular USB drivers and the computer recognizes the phone OK.
I know that this is frowned upon, but what do I ...

Wondering if possible to use PCS as telehone line connection to laptop

service, would like to use available PCS minutes so that my laptop
would dial out via the cell phone.  Is this possible?
How would you feel about supporting data cables for your travelling folks?12 May 2004 18:21 GMT17
Against my will, there is a push for our travelling folks (about a dozen of
them) to get vision phones and data cables so they can 'always be
connected'.  As the 'computer guy' here, I obviously have to implement this.
Now I've used a data cable for quite awhile with my old N400, ...

I recently signed up w/Sprint on a $50/1000 retention plan with a 2 yr
contract. Several days ago I asked about higher-minute plans and was offered
a $100/2500 plan that included a 2nd line and free Vision on the 1st line.
Not sure if I wanted to spend this much or needed the 2nd ...

Remember when we talked about phones? :)
Has anyone had any success getting the PM-6225 to provide a vision

sync remotely with my desktop.
