I've been around the Internet long enough to know about Usenet, but these
cellphones are brand new to me.  I just signed up today with Sprint and have
the Sanyo RL2000 phone.  I'm still reading the instructions ... but I'm
wondering about a few things.

After six months using my Samsung VGA1000 my called parties say they
can barely hear me however I can hear them fine.  Testing this with my
home phone and an alternate cell on another carrier confirms it's
weak.  I will take it to a local Sprint store for service but am

I'm upgrading from my Samsung A400 and would also like to get rid of
my landline phone as well, so I want a phone that has great reception
and sound quality (I'd prefer it if the person I'm calling doesn't
say, "are you calling from a cell phone?").

Cell phones eat thousands of people each year !24 Jun 2004 01:31 GMT3
Yes, this is true.
They are hungry aliens from outer space who look like phones, but are
hungry monsters that will consume all your flesh !
All the people who disappeared without a trace were eaten by cell

What are the final bills WITH TAXES, FEES, ETC...23 Jun 2004 06:44 GMT2
Can anyone tell me of a website or place that I can look up what the
final bill (WITH  all taxes, fees, etc. ) of wireless plans are? Of

other services, just the minutes included.
More sync software questions23 Jun 2004 06:06 GMT4
I'm set to buy a data cable for my Toshiba VM-4050 from 3GCable.com, which
sells it for $23 + $7 S&H. By itself, though, it will only allow me to
connect to the internet. I'd also like to sync it with my PC. I realize that
because this is a new phone there's not a lot of sync ...

Returning (Sanyo 4900) to factory defaults23 Jun 2004 00:07 GMT3

address book and return the phone to the default state I got it in.
I could not find an easy way to do this, though I might simply
be overlooking it.
