Free & Clear America Questions06 Jun 2004 10:35 GMT7
I just added F&CA to my plan a few days ago, and had a few questions. I'm on
a shared plan (two phones).
1) The $5.00 fee covers both phones, in other words, it's not 5.00 per
phone, correct?
Oops!06 Jun 2004 06:08 GMT11
I signed up to Sprint online.   Says $50 back.  $25 first and $25 second
bill.   Also says $200 phone for $50 after rebate.
Get an email right after signing up.  Says I owe 200-50+16 tax = 66.
Sprint PCS Store charges $66 to my VISA.  I'm thinking that's it for
Verizon Wireless LD confusion06 Jun 2004 05:57 GMT1
I'm currently looking into getting a cellular line with Verizon
Wireless but am getting conflicting information from both customer
service at Verizon Wireless as well as the dealers.  My question is:
Does the $34.99 (if offered) provide for included LD to Canada (ie: no
Vision Question06 Jun 2004 05:17 GMT3
I just cancelled my Vision Pictures Pack because i really wasn't using it very
much.  I added the $5 picture mail option, instead.  My question concerns
something the rep said about acessing the web without the vision pack.  He said
web acess would be 1 cent per minute, email or ...
VISION PLAN QUESTION06 Jun 2004 05:05 GMT13
I recently upgraded from a Samsung N400 to a Samsung a620/VGA1000.
My plan includes vision  (vision premium pack)  for $15/mo for
UNLIMITED vision.
I now have a camera with the built-in camera and am able to upload
PRL Upgrades06 Jun 2004 01:26 GMT1
Does anyone know if they do over the air PRL upgrades in the
Dallas-Ft.Worth, Texas area?  Was just checking the PRL on
my Sanyo 4900 and noticed that it is 10018?  Thought I saw
something about it being up to 10024, if I remember.
Porting a Phone Number to Sprint PCS - Financial Downside?05 Jun 2004 20:42 GMT1
I strongly suspect that the Federal rules surrounding
porting phone numbers do _not_ allow extra charges
but would like to have opinions of the knowledgeable
people in this group:
Sanyo 492005 Jun 2004 12:34 GMT8
I've read in this group that a few people have bought the Sanyo 4920.
could someone give us a review of this phone. I would like to find out
if the reception is as good as the 4900 was.

Any way to find out if Sprint will expand to Glenwood Springs Colorado
anytime soon.  They have service  14 miles away and Glenwood is right on
I70?   Thanks
Sprint Kills Premium Services Credit Line05 Jun 2004 02:08 GMT6
As reported earlier this week at
http://www.sprintpcsinfo.com:
Sprint has shut down their phone number that allowed customers to
request one-time credits for unsatisfactory or defective downloads
Considering Sprint Service05 Jun 2004 01:42 GMT11
I am thinking about switching from Verizon Wireless to Sprint PCS.  I live
in West Lafayette, Indiana.  My coverage for Verizon Wireless is very good,
although I rarely get a signal inside of buildings.  But I'm thinking about
switching because of Sprint's (supposedly) better data ...
The CSR issue.05 Jun 2004 00:05 GMT12
I've found one issue that daunts me with Sprint Customer Care. I work
for an indirect retailer. My main source of trouble is with getting to
corporate sponsored activations. I have a 50% chance of reaching them in
one transfer, and when I do reach them, I have a 50% chance of ...
"Ports (COM & LPT)" Not Listed In Device Manager04 Jun 2004 23:23 GMT3
All right.  I'll pay a shiny nickel to anyone who can figure this out, as
I've exhausted my options on Google, the KB, etc.
Background: I'm trying to install and use a Sprint PCS wireless modem
(Novatel) on a Dell Latitude 5100 running Windows XP Pro, SP1, with all
Ported my Sprint number to Verizon04 Jun 2004 19:54 GMT2
I finally bit the bullet and ported my number to Verizon yesterday.
I was surprised because after the sale and paperwork was done, as I was
walking onto my car in the parking lot, I got a text message welcoming me to
Verizon.  My number was switched in less than one hour!  I was ...
Treo 300 vs Treo 60004 Jun 2004 18:59 GMT3
I currently use a Sanyo 8100 with Vision and also a Palm 515 and I'd like to
get a Cell/PDA combo but can't seem to justify $600.00 for my usage. I use
Vision sporadically to check stocks and check e-mail (from my Comcast
account) and I occasionally use the 8100 as a modem with my ...
