WhatsUp Gold 8 and Sprint PCS28 Jul 2004 16:40 GMT7
has anyone been able to get the SMS notifications to work with Sprint?  If
so, I would appreciate a tip or two.  Thanks.
"New for You" 18-month rebate coupon?28 Jul 2004 14:14 GMT5
Hey gang-
My wife and I bought new Samsung A680 Vision phones last week.  We are
longtime subscribers and we each qualify for the 18 month "New for You"
upgrade rebates.  We were given rebate coupons at the store, but on
Technical question on RL200028 Jul 2004 07:40 GMT14
In recent days my RL2000 keeps locking up. I have to remove the battery and
slap it with my hand to get it to turn on (after replacig the battery of
course). This is quite annoying. Is there anything I can do to get it to
work? It seems that it stays on longer if I disable it from ...

Transfer of Liability Question27 Jul 2004 22:21 GMT2
I know that in order to do this, you must go into the store, and that it's
reccomended that you do it on the last day of the billing cycle, so that you
start with a new cycle. My questions however are:
Does the contract start all over - in other words, if party A is
Vision For Less27 Jul 2004 22:12 GMT36
I called customer service to cancel my Vision service, as i really wasn't using
it enough to justify $15 per month.  At the end of the call, the rep told me of
a special deal if i ever wanted to restart Vision again.  He said i could
restart at any time for only $10 per month, ...
The Airport, New Brighton - ROAMING? Are you serious?27 Jul 2004 22:04 GMT17
New Brighton is an adjacent suburb of Minneapolis - it nearly butts up
against a 300,000 population city. You mean you roam there?
Ditto the airport - it's next to the Mall of America and is one of the
most important installations in the state. Roam there too?
Customer Service worse than Sprint27 Jul 2004 14:38 GMT36
Earthlink and American Express now direct calls to call centers in
India, where if you're lucky the person handling your call almost speaks
English.
Earthlink still handles dsl stateside, but I did cancel my Amex card,
Can't Dial By Highlighting in Vision - Sanyo 490027 Jul 2004 05:37 GMT6
OK, since CS closed as of 11 pm CDT (and maybe I couldn't have got
tech support anyway), I'll pose this question here.  (I
know...impatient, impatient, but I'm also curious to see if anyone
else has encountered this problem.  I can't dig up anything on the
3G26 Jul 2004 20:12 GMT4
Does SprintPCS use 3G or 2.5G technology in the network? If SprintPCS is
using CDMA 1xRTT, it is 2.5G. When will we get 3G in the network?
SF Coverage - Actually a 'for instance'26 Jul 2004 20:03 GMT4
I was out in the San Francisco area  on 07/11 and ran into a phenomena, that
I saw locally(Dayton, OH)  a few months ago, but which went away.....
While I was in the Muir Woods area.. (yes I know it is very hill and Sprint
Coverage is spotty), I was on ANALOG ROAM......
New SPCS sites in Newbury Park, CA ???26 Jul 2004 19:56 GMT1
This morning, I noticed two workmen at the pole-mounted cell site
located at the western-most end of Lynn Road at Via Acosta Circle,
adjacent to Dos Vientos / Two Winds Ranch. This is in the extreme
southwest area of Newbury Park, which is in Thousand Oaks, CA.

coming back to Sprint25 Jul 2004 19:04 GMT1
It's been two years since I've used Sprint PCS. Now I'm sick of T-Mobile and
I'm coming back. What is the best phone to get by way of features and
reception. Also Is Ready Link worth hype?
