i have questions about getting a new phone31 Oct 2004 11:01 GMT5
I have been with Sprint for almost 2 years and my phone is screwing up
recently as far as reception wise. I'm in the process of getting a new
phone. My question is that if I sign another 2 year contract and get a
new phone, do i get the rebate as all the new sprint customers get
Handsets with Thumb-Pad keyboards?31 Oct 2004 04:43 GMT1
I am right on the fence about the phone I prefer using. I'm currently
using a Samsung i500, and it's exactly what I need in a PdaPhone. On
the other hand, there are java apps and online services available for
my Sanyo 8100 that I miss incredibly.

PalmOne Treo 650 data via wire?29 Oct 2004 23:05 GMT3
While it's become well known that the Bluetooth functionality on the
Treo 650 is expected to be crippled on Sprint, can a wired approach
still be taken as was done with the Treo 600? Is there a cable and the
appropriate software to do laptop connectivity with a wire connected

What is the best smartphone in people's opinion that sprint carries? Or is
it best to start looking at other carriers that offer more reasonable prices
and devices?

Service in LA...29 Oct 2004 01:37 GMT10
Hey gang. First let me say how much information is on the newsgroup...it is
required reading if you are a Spintpcs customer. My question is on

overloaded and it was a ton of complaints about it here on the ...

Any thoughts why Sprint PCS is trying to get these phones back?  A few
Which battery for Sanyo 8100?27 Oct 2004 17:24 GMT2
I have a Sanyo 8100 picture phone and need to purchase a new battery for it.
There are two types - 1400mAh and 1600mAh.  The prices are very similar but

one over the other?  I don't want to damage the phone ...
