Questions about lost/stolen cell phone13 Oct 2004 21:21 GMT3
My Sprint PCS cell phone was either lost or stolen while out shopping last
week during a visit to NYC. I went back to all the stores I'd been to to see
if I could find it or if anyone found it, but with no luck. Nor did anyone
turn it into a Sprint store. I called Sprint to see ...
Swapping the phone number on two phones13 Oct 2004 16:32 GMT6
Here's my situation:  my friend recently gave me an old Sanya 8100
that is still connected to service (he left for Tmobile and didn't
want to pay the cancellation fee).  I have an old N400 that pretty
much sucks for reception and want to swap my number to the new Sanyo.
using Web to check NFL scores, not real-time13 Oct 2004 04:50 GMT2
Yesterday while on the tarmac I used the web feature of my phone to
check ESPN football scores.
Has anyone ever noticed that it's not really real-time? Checked twice
15 minutes apart and the silly game still had same minutes left in 4th

Sanyo 4900 does not ring if the caller has Caller ID.12 Oct 2004 13:23 GMT4
Settings - Sounds - Ringer Type - Voice Calls - With Caller ID.
All ringer tones can be heard and selected, but are not saved.
When backing out of the menu five dots are displayed instead of a selected
tone.

Does Sprint currently offer or have plans in the near future to offer
a picture phone with Bluetooth capabilities.  I know the have the

to display 24-hour (i.e. "military") time?
Samsung SPH-A660 and VI660...12 Oct 2004 03:32 GMT2
Would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me as to the
difference, if any, between the Samsung SPH-A660 and VI660 models.  I
keep seeing these two model numbers being used interchangably.  Are
they the same?
WTB: Sprint PCS phone for backup11 Oct 2004 18:50 GMT1
I'm looking to buy an inexpensive Sprint PCS phone to have as a backup/extra
in case one of the 4 PCS phones we have are lost or damaged.  Open to any
brand or style, but prefer one that uses the "barrel" style 12v power
supply.  Please reply via private email (remove the asterisks) ...

Sanyo RL-4920 GPS Question11 Oct 2004 16:06 GMT2
A friend has GPS capability on her phone (not sure what provider) that
allows her to go into some menu and actually see the longitude and latitude.
Is this feature typical of phones with GPS capability?
Is it possible to view the GPS info on a Sanyo RL-4920 (I'd try myself but I
Performance Difference Treo vs VI66010 Oct 2004 18:17 GMT2
I currently have a VI660.  I'm considering a Treo 600 or probably the new
650 when it becomes available.  I've tried MobiTv on my VI660 and it is very
choppy.  The sound is good but the video is pretty bad.  I'm wondering if
this is just normal for this service or if it might ...
