Which Palm-based phone has the longest battery life?09 Oct 2004 03:47 GMT3
I'm looking to replace my ancient cell phone with a PDA/phone. I don't
want to carry two devices any longer. And I definitely want Palm as I
synch that with Linux. However, I'm worried about battery life. Do any of
the Palm-based phones have decent battery life? I don't even care ...

Linux and Samsung i330?08 Oct 2004 02:02 GMT2
I've recently upgraded my Hanspring Visor (with VisorPhone) to a Samsung

I have an older  dual band QCP phone from several years ago.and on a $30/300

phone with perhaps the $150 rebate making the phone cost anywhere from $0 to
$50 or so. Got told that I need to agree to another ...

Just Switched to Sprint06 Oct 2004 18:26 GMT10
I just switched to Sprint from Cellular One.  I've had it for about 3 weeks
now and I must say I like it.  I have not had one dropped call, my voice
mail comes right through.  Sprints Vision is great, I had internet with
cellular one and it doesn't even come close to sprint.  I ...
SprintPCS Bankrupt?06 Oct 2004 17:41 GMT16
I had a sales person at the local Radio Shack tell me that Sprint PCS is
filing bankrupcy. Anyone else heard this? Our local Sprint PCS store

connecting a laptop -- current advice?06 Oct 2004 01:38 GMT22
From reading past traffic in this newsgroup, I think I mostly
understand this issue, but I wanted to find out if anything's
changed, and clarify a few points.
As I understand it, if I want to connect my laptop to a Sprint
Sprint customer service sucks. Using a USB cable will void your warranty! 05 Oct 2004 21:57 GMT5
I've had no luck getting the data cable for my phone to work. The
SnapSync provider told me that the problem was with my phone.
I called the local Sprint store earlier today, explained my problem, and
was told that I could exchange the phone as long as I got to the store

bluetooth enabled phone. With Verizon offering the v710, they're
SnapSync sucks - at least it does if you have a Sanyo A70005 Oct 2004 02:05 GMT2
I wasted $30 on SnapSync and can't get the piece of sh*t software to
upload my Outlook contact list to my MM-A700. SnapSync uploads about 5
contacts and then crashes. It doesn't matter that I've downloaded the
latest version of SnapSync AND the latest USB drivers. No luck getting ...
