Anonymous Call Rejection for Cellular05 Oct 2004 01:49 GMT2
Is anonymous call rejection available on any of the cellular carriers?
Sprint CSRs said that the service is only available on landlines.  I really
hate "unknown caller" rings.  I usually just let them go to voice mail, but
I'd rather them hear a message saying "the subscriber ...
Does Sprint now alllow (and charge for) phone-laptop Vision use?04 Oct 2004 18:45 GMT11
I've come across a number of postings recently that claim that Sprint now
effectively allows you to connect your laptop to the internet via a cable,
but charges you for it per kb, even for users with unlimited Vision plans.
Is this true, and if so has Sprint announced this ...

Sprint does not support two-way messaging via AIM or MSN messenger04 Oct 2004 17:01 GMT1
Even though Sprint links to MSN messenger and AIM on the homepage
displayed by default in their phones, it turns out that one can only
RECEIVE instant messages via AIM and MSN.  The software doesn't return
any errors when one tries to SEND an IM, instead the message just

Cancelling service, but can't get a firm answer from sprint04 Oct 2004 07:22 GMT8
Just switched over to Cingular today, but didn't have our Sprint
phones with us so couldn't do the number port at the time.
My billing cycle ends on the 12th, and I want to port and cancel with
Sprint before then, for obvious reasons.

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to activate a LG

Samsung SCH-411 ?02 Oct 2004 08:25 GMT2
I have been given an SCH-411 Samsung phone that had its contract cancelled
with another carrier.
Does anyone know if this phone will work on the Sprint PCS network? If so,
can my existing Sprint PCS number be transferred over to this phone?
finally improvements to UCLA campus in Westwood, CA02 Oct 2004 01:06 GMT2
After years of poor coverage on parts of the UCLA campus Sprint
finally reached a deal this summer to place two new cell sites (one on
the NW side of campus and the other on the NE side).  Those two sites
came on the air this past Tuesday (9-21)!  It appears that coverage to
Sending international SMS01 Oct 2004 04:35 GMT7
Is there any way to add plus signs when using a phone that supports
Sprint SMS (Sanyo 4920 in my case) to send international SMS? Any way
to store those in the phone book (even thou they can't be call if
they're not US / Canada)?
