| Sanyo 5400 and 8100 and 8200 | 12 Nov 2004 17:04 GMT | 4 |
I am eliable for the 18 month $150 rebate. Big price difference in these three phones. I can get the 5400 for just a few bucks where as the 8200 is over hundred even with the rebate. Is it worth the extra money if all i really want is a reliable voice phone with no interest

| A680 Ringer Dead | 12 Nov 2004 05:37 GMT | 3 |
Over the last few days, the ringer on my 5 month old A680 started to cut out during each ring. Now it doesn't ring at all, unless you put your ear right up to the speaker, then you can hear it faintly ringing, even when set to full volume. Keypad sounds no longer work either.

| Treo 650 too expensive? | 11 Nov 2004 17:52 GMT | 2 |
I agree that this phone is way overpriced. If I have a Treo 600 all I'm getting for $600 is a blue-tooth earphone, a few more buttons that don't really do much for you additional, a higher resolution screen. (oh boy!), a 640x 480 camera which wouldn't impress anyone.

| CDMA modem and voice | 11 Nov 2004 17:41 GMT | 1 |
I understand the features and limits of GPRS modems where class A GPRS can do Voice and Data at the same time and Class B can hold the data channel open during a voice call and a voice call can interrupt a data transmission.

| Do I have to upgrade to a Vision plan? | 11 Nov 2004 01:08 GMT | 9 |
I have been with SprintPCS since 1999 and I am on the $30 for 300min (plus unlimited N/W and PCS to PCS) plan using a Qualcomm 2760 phone. I am happy with the plan I have. I do not see any advantage to any of the plans currently offered by SprintPCS.

| Call record feature on any new phones? | 10 Nov 2004 14:28 GMT | 4 |
I have a Samsung 8500 that has a one-button record feature, which can be used to record the callers message, or record a voice memo if I'm not on a call. This is a handy feature when driving, or whenever a notepad isn't handy. I find it unbelievable that the newer phones have a ...

| Receiving faxes with Samsung SPH-A620? | 10 Nov 2004 06:16 GMT | 3 |
I've set up my SPH-A620 to use Windows Fax (from XP Pro) to send faxes. That works just fine. Some people have suggested that you need to use special data numbers to make faxing work; that's not my experience. Fax calls to my regular fax machine number work just fine.

I don't know if you people have heard of this one on the radio or television or not, but I have and I just signed up for it. Basically, it adds up to this: Two Phones on plan

| Leaving Sprint | 09 Nov 2004 06:39 GMT | 2 |
I called Verizon and signed up with them today and they will handle porting my cell number from Sprint to Verizon. My question is do I have to call Sprint-after the number porting is done-and tell them that I quit or will the number porting itself do it? I am on a month to ...

| my attempt at VoIPoCDMA2000 | 09 Nov 2004 00:51 GMT | 6 |
I would love to have some (wide area) mobile VoIP phones. I've been searching for a solution for awhile and finally decided to just see how bad it would be to use a current mobile phone network to achieve this functionality.

| Bluetooth, Outlook, & Rate Plans | 08 Nov 2004 12:48 GMT | 2 |
I am preparing to switch from Nextel to SprintPCS. I would like to switch sometime this month, so I am currently looking at the different phones available. My number one priority in a phone is that I can sync the contact list with Outlook. I am sick of having to maintain two

| charging issues w/my VI660 | 08 Nov 2004 06:34 GMT | 2 |
I'm hoping that someone can help me, because I'm utterly stumped! When I first got this phone, I could plug it in and talk on it at the same time. You know, I'd get that little beep telling me that the battery was low so I'd plug it in and continue my conversation like

| Treo 600 Display | 08 Nov 2004 05:44 GMT | 7 |
I have a Treo 600, about 2 weeks ago a small orange squiggle showed up on the screen in the position of where the "hangup all" icon appears. The squiggle appears to be getting bigger...not in width but in length. I have not had time to take it to the Sprint store yet but
