How long before merger official on paper?31 Jan 2005 07:03 GMT4
I'm wondering when the Sprint Nextel merger will be official on paper.
For example, if someone wants to switch from Sprint to Nextel (or vice
versa) at what point will it be considered within the same company, and
that early termination fees will not apply?
My phone is smarter than your phone30 Jan 2005 20:59 GMT79
I got a Treo 650 today, so far it seems pretty sweet.  The sync software
was really easy to get set up.
The only problem was that the moron who sold it to me took out the
instruction book and software CD to get the phone out of the box to

Hi all, maybe you can save me a ring-around-the-voicemail, or at least
make sure I'm on the right path.
I was sucked in by a small but nice Time write-up and just got the new

SMS messages to New Zealand?29 Jan 2005 22:35 GMT7
I'd like to send an SMS message to a phone in New Zealand; the carrier there
is Vodafone.  I have a Sprint account myself here in the US.
Is there any way to do this through my own phone?  The phone number is (from
a land line 011-64-021-xxx-xxxx, where '64' is the New Zealand ...
Blocked Id (ringing on pickup)29 Jan 2005 18:30 GMT3
I have been experiencing a very odd thing recently, and it happens on a
daily basis (usually just once a day).
My phone will ring, the caller ID will display "Blocked ID", and if I
answer it, I immedietely hear a phone ringing tone (as if I had just

Question about moving pictures28 Jan 2005 07:40 GMT1
I was just wondering, I currently have a Sanyo 8200 and upgraded to a Sanyo MM7400. I have many pictures on the 8200 that i want to transfer to the MM7400 but they are in my "saved to phone" folder. Is there anyway to get these pictures out of the 8200 phone and into my new one? ...
Is Blackberry 7100 coming out for sprint?28 Jan 2005 07:12 GMT1
Does anyone know if the blackberry 7100 is coming out for sprint?  I'm
trying to decide which smart phone to buy, and its between the Treo 650
and the 7100.  Obviously, I would have to switch carriers if I got the
7100 right now.
Picture caller ID?27 Jan 2005 23:20 GMT2
Hey all,
Just got the Samsung A740.  Decent little phone (though the web seems
very slow to connect compared to my trusty A500).
So I added a few photos of friends for caller IDs and assigned them in

downloading voice mail messages?27 Jan 2005 05:14 GMT2
I have a somewhat unusual question.  I have a bunch of messages on my
voicemail that I would like to save permanently.  I'm thinking the best way
to do this to figure out a way to transfer/download/something them to my
computer.  Does anyone know of a way to do that?  I know it's ...
