Sprint PCS data problems10 Feb 2005 15:39 GMT5
We recently purchased about 15 Sprint PCS Connection Cards (Novatel
Wireless Merlin C201).  Everything is working fine, except for one
thing.  We use a Java applet that runs in Internet Explorer, that
cannot connect to our server via Telnet TLS/SSL.  It works fine on
FS: Mitsubishi I-Mode Phone10 Feb 2005 08:00 GMT2
I posted this once before, but thought I'd give it a bump as
it's probably an interesting find for someone out there.
It was a fantastic phone two years ago, and since we only go
to Japan twice a year for a month at a time, it's got extremely low
pcs vision internet10 Feb 2005 04:45 GMT1
My employees and i have used the Find it link on pcs vision everyday to
access the yellow pages and the white pages, for about three years. Now
they removed the white pages. Are they idiots? everyone needs the white
pages. This will not increase my usage of 411. It will only make me ...
SPCS wireless web screw up.09 Feb 2005 17:07 GMT5
I get a text message today, informing me my phone is being shut off.
Funny, since I just paid the bill, before it was due.
I call sprint up to find out what is going on.  This guy tells me I
went over on my minutes, which was wrong. Then he says I went over on

Electronics version.  This one from Wireless Extenders works.  I ca
Text message from a computer09 Feb 2005 01:26 GMT6
Does anyone know what the correct syntax would be to send a message to a
SPCS phone via E-mail? I searched their web site today and it is either not
there or it is well hidden.
Thanks in advance
SCP 5300 Reboots Itself!08 Feb 2005 05:52 GMT6
I've got this phone for about 2 years now and have gotten quite
frustrated at retyping my e-mails and on-line sites due to it
rebooting/restarting by itself. I've called sprint about it and they
just for me to do an update(which didn't change a thing). I'm about
Sanyo VM4500 (SCP-5500) USB question07 Feb 2005 22:32 GMT2
I'd like to move some pictures from my Sanyo VM4500 onto my PC.  I see
there's a USB cable on the Sanyo website (   USB Data Cable SKU: SCP-04SDC )
but do I need special software or drivers too?
I don't need to sync up an address book or anything like that -- just want

Dropping calls like crazy around Boston?06 Feb 2005 16:18 GMT5
Well, I've been a Sprint customer for many years now, and never had
problems with dropped calls - not that I make too many calls, but the
calls I made, would complete without being dropped.
Now in the last week, every call I've made has been lost. "Signal

A stumper?  Voicemail capacity06 Feb 2005 07:16 GMT4
I was browsing some sites aimlessly, when I discovered that some other
wireless carriers actually specify the voicemail capacity per user of
their system.  For example, on the Cingular network, users get a basic
voice mail system that gives subscribers a mailbox with a 20 message ...

Q: Data Connection05 Feb 2005 03:36 GMT5
A friend of mine uses T-Mobile (GSM) and can stay logged into his Internet
connection and still receive calls.  When I use my SprintPCS phone and I'm
connected to Vision, calls go straight to voice mail.  Does Sprint's voice
and data use the same connection?
