I just got a Treo 650 snd want to know if anyone has a good way of
putting movies onto it. I have done a little research and saw that the
Kinoma player seems to be the best to use to watch them. Anyone have
any insight on the easiest and cheapest way to convert them so I can

Can SOMEBODY explain Sprint plans?14 Apr 2005 07:05 GMT30
I just called up a Sprint store. I also went online. There are two
kinds of plans - Free & Clear and Fair & Flexible. I asked for the
difference. They told me that there is none except that the Free &
Flexible allows you to pay only $5 per every 100 minutes over your

I went to the Sprint store yesterday to have my software updated.
While waiting, I'm looking around the store, of course, and saw
"Music Choice"  with news and music, etc.
To my limited astonishment, nobody in the store seemed to know

How to get rid of Sanyo 820013 Apr 2005 19:14 GMT7
I am a new Sprint customer, in southern California.
I switched to Sprint from Verizon (with them since 1994) two months
ago.  I switched because of the way Verizon gouges on overtime minutes.
At the Sprint store I bought a Sanyo 8200 for $59 and the $35/mo
Interchangable Chargers?12 Apr 2005 22:42 GMT3
I have a charger from an old but working Samsung A500 with an output of
5.0V and a charger from a new Sanyo MM-7400 with an output of 5.2V.
Both have a small barrel plug that fits either phone, but the Samsung
charger has a small removable rubber "donut" that shortens the length

Retention incentive - supposedly!!12 Apr 2005 17:30 GMT30
I received a letter from Sprint telling me that I'm such a good, long time customer that I would receive a 5% discount off my service if I signed up for two years again.
My contract ended last November and this is the first offer for renewal.
The letter stated the offer was good ...
New software version for Samsung A68012 Apr 2005 06:38 GMT7
Anyone with an A680 should consider getting the new software version
YA28.  It fixes some key problems including missed/dropped calls from
data activity (which I had been complaining about for a long time).
Also fixes background noise/beeps issues during calls and some SMS
Text Message question12 Apr 2005 03:25 GMT5
Hello.  Does anyone know if one can send a text message from a computer
email system to a sprint phone.
I've searched all of Sprint.  It appears one can only do this from Sprints
web site for text messaging where you fill in the phone number and message .

to my phone. Then i read that i was suppose to buy a cd... well later i
find out THERE IS NO CD. I WAS willing to pay another 30 bucks for

I'm curious how many people are taking advantage of the $15 long

Sprint->Verizon Roaming in Manhattan12 Apr 2005 00:43 GMT2
Hi, I'm new to this newsgroup.  I've been a loyal Verizon Wireless customer
for five or so years and have been satisfied by their coverage here in
Manhattan.  I'd normally not think of switching to Sprint, but Verizon
doesn't offer the Treo 650 yet.  I would like to know from ...
landline to cell number transfer question11 Apr 2005 20:09 GMT11
I am thinking of canceling my wired phone and transferring the number to
my currently active Sprint PCS phone. I was all set to do this, but when
I talked to a rep in the Sprint store, I was told that my current PCS
phone would immediately be deactivated and would be reactivated in ...
