sprint now says no, we do not support using any of our phones as a modem. only PDA type devices or plug in cards. time tolook for a different carrier. formeg verizen.

My wife is seriously considering moving to Cingular from Sprint but I'd like her to stay as I'm tied to Sprint through my employer (that is if I'd like to get reimbursed) and the PCS-to-PCS on my plan is helpful to stay within a tight budget.

Both of my phones are with sprint. When I call my wifes LG phone with my Treo 650 I did not dial the area code since we are both in the same area code. The call did not connect. I then dialed using the area code and the call connected. My Treo phone prefrences are set to North ...

Finally, after a full week, Rob (O/Siris) has accepted my $10,000 wager that I can prove that Sprint sells phones that can be used as modems out of the box, and that this capability is outlined in the Sprint-branded materials that come with the phone.
