Text Messaging with a PC instead of a phone14 Jun 2006 20:26 GMT11
I get text messages from several people.  I find it a pain keying
responses via the phone (a Sanyo 5400), even using T9 input.
*Most* of the time I get these messages, I'm working in front of my
computer.  Is there a web site I can use to respond to these people with

I'm trying to get a phone that will work from my house. I tried the Samsung

signals.

Can someone give a summary of the cheapest way to use a sprint evdo
phone (a900 or treo 700p) as a "modem".  I am interested in how much
this is going to cost me before I go plunk down the money for a new

kind of a simple question11 Jun 2006 03:00 GMT1
My contract is up and I'm considering getting another phone.  My current
phone is the VGA1000, and it still works.  The plan I have has 2000 min with
Vision.  Two phones (one is Treo 600) are on the plan.  The Treo also works
OK.

describing the CDMA transmission protocol.  Anyone interested in

a look.
