Anyone have access to any info on when Sprint will upgrade to EV-DO in
upstate New York?

Husband and I are getting cell phones because we need to coordinate
carpooling (and just for the general communication convenience) and are
looking into either Sprint or Verizon for our provider.
I have looked at phones in stores for both providers, but would like

The deadline for making a decision is in a few days - just wondering what

I hope I did not make a mistake.  Verizon didn't work well in my house.  I
would have to go out in the back yard and I could move the phone (LG vx3100)
3 feet and go from 1 bar to 4 in an instant.

in front of a computer while they walk me through the update of about 21
