Fraud billing resolution10 Aug 2006 04:26 GMT3
Before I went on vacation to Maine, I changed my plan to include
America-Roaming, since most of Maine doesn't have sprint coverage.  Imagine
my initial surprise to find over $600 of roaming fees on my bill when I
returned home.  Closer examination of the 21-page bill showed that ...
Sprint MM 830009 Aug 2006 20:24 GMT2
Is there an easy fix for the 8300's camera?  Reboot, Power Off/On,
still doesn't work.  Click.  No picture.  Suggestions for the 3d day
out of warranty appreciated.
Just Bought Sanyo MM8300/ Some questions for the experts09 Aug 2006 17:52 GMT8
Just bought at  Walmart the MM8300 for $0 for a 2 year agreement.
Nice phone, reminds me of the SCP5500, though that phone had a 2.1" screen,
not 1.8"
It came with the wide plugged AC adapter not the barrel pin type.

Is one evdo, the other not?

Transfer photos from Katana to PC08 Aug 2006 12:51 GMT2
Just picked up a couple of the new Sprint Katana phones for my wife and
I.  I was surprised to see there is no way to transfer photos via
bluetooth.  You need to have Vision + the $5 per month photo service to
do that.  I certainly wouldn't use this for a camera enough to justify
Looking for New Phone07 Aug 2006 17:36 GMT3
I am considering replacing my Sanyo SCP-4900 phone with
either the Sanyo VI-2300 or SCP-2400 or maybe the RL-4930.
From the people that have used these phones, what are the
Pro's and Con's? Camera phones are banded where I work
Sany MM7500 EV-DO question07 Aug 2006 15:01 GMT4
I like this phone, but can it be used with a  regular old sprint data plan
that lets me use the phone as a modem for my laptop for $10/ month...not the
nearly quadruple that for EVDO.
Is that possible?
A900 Bluetooth Defective design - any remedy?  can I return  it?07 Aug 2006 00:42 GMT5
Apparently the Bluetooth implementation of the SprintPCS Samsung A900
is defective, not allowing it to work correctly with the Prius
bluetooth option, i.e. cannot upload phone book, and generates phantom
'incoming call' message when crossing cell boundaries.
Save $1 per call on directory assistance05 Aug 2006 15:19 GMT1
411 directory assistance calls are one of the biggest ripoffs of the
mobile phone world: they cost between $1.20 and $1.75 per call ($1.40
per call for Sprint PCS customers) -- plus airtime charges!
In contrast, a service like Google SMS will cost you at most 20-50
Surprised at how un-small Sprint's Power Vision phones are04 Aug 2006 15:05 GMT7
I am thinking of returning to Sprint after almost three years with
T-Mobile. I switched to T-Mobile for its $20 GPRS data service, and
now I want to switch back for Sprint's $15 EV-DO service. Funny, how
things work out. I first planned on getting the Palm Treo 700p (see
Roaming in Michigan's Upper Peninsula03 Aug 2006 07:50 GMT1
Recently I was visiting family in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, near
Marquette where Sprint has no native coverage. My Sanyo RL-7300 would
only roam on Alltel's analog network. A friend of mine who was up there
also has Sprint and has the Samsung SPH-A620 (VGA1000), and he was
a640 able to be used as a modem?03 Aug 2006 06:30 GMT1
I've been searching through the forums about the procedure (if it
exists) to use an a640 as a modem via BT? If there is a message of step
by step instructions for another phone that would be comparable... I
can use that.
Telemarketed by Sprint on my OWN PHONE?03 Aug 2006 01:37 GMT10
So my service commitment with Sprint has come up recently, so now I'm month
to month. Needless to say, they would very much like to get me stuck down to
a new contract.
A few weeks ago, they left a message on my landline offering me the usual
