| Swapping ESN will lost your equipment credit !! | 28 Sep 2006 19:14 GMT | 22 |
I am unsure if anyone has a similar experience as I did today. I have been with Sprint PCS since 1998 (still have the 1st incoming minute free), and I am currently out of the contract on month-to-month basis. I just found out today that if anytime a Sprint PCS user change his or ...

| Does anybody use Family locator(Spring PCS) service in US? | 28 Sep 2006 02:48 GMT | 1 |
I like to use Child locator service within US. So far, I find out that only Spring PCS offers so-called Family locator costing about $10/month with a service plan. Their website lists some of phones that they support for such service, e.g., LG LX 350(as contact phone). When I

| annoyance calls from 866-463-3020 | 27 Sep 2006 21:36 GMT | 2 |
Calls from this number started up for me yesterday: 866-463-3020. Googling the number brings up references to Sprint/Nextel telemarketing, but I suspect, as do many of the people in the Google links, that it's telemarketing saying that they are Sprint/Nextel while actually

| Advice on dealing with Sprint Customer Retention? | 27 Sep 2006 00:22 GMT | 20 |
So I'm thinking of getting a new phone. I've had three through Sprint in the last eight years I've been a customer, and it's time for a new one. My last two-year agreement is up, and I'm month-to-month now, so I know I at least qualify for the $150 instant rebate if I reup for ...

| Using phone as modem on $15/mo plan | 26 Sep 2006 01:43 GMT | 11 |
I have a Treo 650 with unlimited PCS vision data plan. I use PDA net to connect my laptop to the internet using my phone as a modem. I noticed on the sprint site, they are now charging $40 for a plan that included modem access. I have 2 questions:

| Music player quality on Fusic | 24 Sep 2006 04:05 GMT | 1 |
I just got a Fusic yesterday. While I think it's a great phone, the audio quality on my unit is terrible...a lot of noise/crosstalk that's really noticable in anything but the loudest music. Sounds like a helicopter in the background. Anyone else have the same experience?

| iSync compatible phones? | 22 Sep 2006 04:07 GMT | 2 |
I am thinking of buying Sprint PCS (to get away from huge over usage charges on a Cingular family plan), but how will I move the addresses? The Cingular phone is a V180 that syncs to a Mac Mini using iSync over a mini USB cable. The last time I changed phones, the Kiosk guy that

| Using Sprint phone in Europe? | 20 Sep 2006 17:59 GMT | 5 |
A friend is traveling to Italy and Greece soon, and has learned she can pay extra for "Sprint service" while there. My question is, while it's obviously possible, what is the reality of signal availability, is it truly useable and are there hidden charges from European phone ...

| Lenovo + Verizon EVDO -- what about Sprint? | 19 Sep 2006 23:39 GMT | 9 |
Lenovo uses Verizon exclusively for its EVDO provider for those Thinkpads with the chips "built-in". Any reason it doesn't offer Sprint as an option? It's the same technology with either company. For one, Sprint is cheaper. Also, many of us current Sprint users would rather

| Notes on/warning about early-model Palm Treo 700p | 16 Sep 2006 05:33 GMT | 1 |
My keyboard totally failed yesterday after receiving a picture mail from a Verizon customer...a hard reset wouldn't fix it. I sync frequently so I lost nothing except some time. I did call technical support at Sprint ("together with Nextel"). The

| replacing phone requires a plan change!? | 15 Sep 2006 13:41 GMT | 2 |
I was on the family plan, with two phones total. One of the phones is three years old, the battery won't hold a charge any more, and replacement batteries don't seem to be readily available, so it was time to get a new phone.

| caller ID when calling from phone on family plan | 15 Sep 2006 13:27 GMT | 3 |
A friend and I use a family plan. My name shows up on the caller ID for calls placed from either of our phones. I asked at the Sprint store if we could get this changed so that my friend's name shows up when his phone makes a call. They said that is doable, and in fact that ...
