One VERY nice feature about the GSM phones are their usage with a tiny SIM card. The SIM card contains the user's activated account - AND - Contacts Listing/Phonebook info!

This was unexpected - I was told that the Sanyo 4900 phone got a signal, and a dial tone down in Buenos Aires. But all attempts to dial failed - presumably because some arrangements or roaming plans need to be added to the Sprint plans in the US -
