To 3 or not to 3?23 Oct 2003 19:26 GMT8
I am currently on Orange ED50, and am looking at 3G's tariffs, which
look very attractive, I don't care about video or any of that keek,
just the huge X-network talk time, for not a lot of money.  AFAIK
there is no other network that can come close to this, please correct
'migrating' mobile number to other network?23 Oct 2003 19:19 GMT3
If I change network, say from Orange to Vodafone, I'd like to take my
number with me, however I had a thought about what would happen when
someone called the old number?  If the caller was on Vodafone as well,
would they get charged with a X-network call?  Or are numbers like
Changing to Orange Square Deal!23 Oct 2003 18:59 GMT3
I've decided just to go for it and move from O2 Online (old Genie contract
tariff) to Orange Square Deal. I particularly like that fact the I can get a
calling card from a provider such as Tiscali and get landline calls for
2p/min, and use my cross-network minutes for mobiles.

Getting phone exchanged at Phones4u23 Oct 2003 18:52 GMT15
I bought a T610 from Phones4u. I noticed that there was a line going through
the screen, exactly like the one shown here, only going vertically

I took the phone back to get it exchanged, since it was over 14 days, but
Is calling o2 from landline cheaper than calling other networks23 Oct 2003 18:38 GMT4
I have a friend who's on O2, and he tells me it's cheaper to call his
network from a BT phone than it is others.  Is there any truth in this?
Any idea what the costs are peak / off peak / weekend to a BT account
holder?  I've had a squint at their website, but with no joy.
3 phones23 Oct 2003 18:37 GMT1
I had a 3 phone for 3 days in July, the NEC 606, it was crap so I returned
it under the 14 day return policy.
Since then I have had bills for line rental every month, my bill is upto
over £88 at the moment, I have rang them 6 times, faxed them twice and
Porting OVP Virgin - Virgin23 Oct 2003 18:33 GMT3
Can I port straight from OVP Virgin to Virgin or do I have to be on a
regular Orange price plan to request a PAC? Do Orange still allow you to
port back into a contract at any time?
Thanks.
Virgin Pay & Go Phones Locked?23 Oct 2003 17:49 GMT3

pay and go mobile (motorola c350 at £70), will it be locked to virgin or
should i be able to put a different sim card in?

Trace Mobile Phones23 Oct 2003 17:48 GMT2
http://www.verilocation.com/
It seems very interesting but a bit on the scary side! Do you think a
service like this would ever be available for the people with the actual
mobile phone? It would be handy to know where you are if you're lost!

upgrading 6310i to t61023 Oct 2003 14:16 GMT18
I'm due an upgrade on my Orange contract phone. Using a 6310i at the moment,
& not finding much else to choose that has all the features I use/plan to
use except another 6310i or a t610, & I quite fancy the camera as well..
I've also got an old 6210 on OVP Virgin tariff (because ...
