Anybody seen this yet?  -aparrently Phones For UOO are going to take over
the Teenage World with a PTT facility on GSM.!

I cannot get my siemens S55 to use any other tone for SMS messages
other than the standard tone.  When I change the tone and an SMS text
message is received then the phone makes no noise (however it does
vibrate if silent alert is on).

About a month ago I got a free 8310 on t-mobile network from Dial-A-Phone
(signed up to the 100 x-network + 50% extra , and got it unlocked through
dvds2000.co.uk,   everything was fine for a few days , then after sending a
txt i turned phone off , next time it was turned back on ...

because of the nature of the contract. Orange won't just sell me a phone but

Orange are offering the Sony Ericsson GC75 PC card on a tarrif of £25 a
month that includes "unlimited" GPRS usage.
However, the offer is only on the business section of their web site,

Is it possible to send an e-mail from a computer that ends up as a
text message for someone with a Vodafone UK?  For instance, in the
United States you can send an email to the person's 10-digit mobile
number xxxxx@mobile.att.net  and it shows up as a text message.
