Spam lists31 Oct 2003 01:21 GMT2
Is it possible to wind up receiving even more spam by replying to spam? (As
is the case with email, where spambots bombard you with more rubbish once
they realise your account is active).
I ask because I have a very short "hello" message from an unfamiliar number
SPV E100 / SPV E20031 Oct 2003 00:36 GMT2
I am looking at buying either the SPV E100 or E200 on Orange.
Does anyone use a E100, and if so what do they think of it?
- How is the MP3 playback?
- And how about internet access?
Sagem myx5 upload software31 Oct 2003 00:35 GMT3
I just bought a Sagem myx5 and am trying to upload a new background image
and ringtone to the phone. The CD with the software to do this was not
included in the box. Have tried looking on www.sagem.com and
www.planetsagem.com for the software but to no avail. I can find the 'Sagem
Belkin BT Adapter31 Oct 2003 00:34 GMT2
I got one of these things today for my T610 after reading good things on
this group but have run into a wee problem.  I'm using the supplied Belkin
software for file transfers (again after reading good comments) but the only
folders I have are for Pictures, Sounds and Themes. I've ...
Porting to Orange30 Oct 2003 23:54 GMT3
I really want a Handspring Treo 600 to replace a recently departed
Palm 505 but I don't want to leave Vodafone just yet. Is it easy for
an individual to get a PAK code from Vodafone and transfer it through
to an Orange contract??
Orange surcharge for not paying by DD30 Oct 2003 23:45 GMT22
Ok - Orange have now informed me that they're going to start enforcing a
£3 a month surcharge for not paying by Direct Debit.
The problem is, I don't pay by Direct Debit because I can't choose a day
suitable for me for the payment to be made. The last time I check they

Nokia 6310 in USA30 Oct 2003 23:25 GMT11
Visiting my sister in USA.
My wife's Nokia 6310 (Orange Contract) works fine.
My Nokia 6310 (work phone signed up through Vodaphone)does not find a network.
Has Vodaphone disabled the phone somehow so it does not work in USA?
Samsung E70030 Oct 2003 23:02 GMT2
Just a few questions on this beauty of a phone (well I think so anyway!).
Is it actually out now?  I've seen a few places saying pre-order now with
others not mentioning anything about pre-ordering.  Also, has anyone seen
any good deals on it?  I've been looking at the T-Mobile ...

Sendo M550 - Any stockists?30 Oct 2003 22:15 GMT13
Been looking for the Sendo M550 for the last 2 weeks on the High Street and
I can't find it in stock anywhere. I'd preferably like it unlocked so I can
keep my old O2 SIM and number (and rather good tariff I may add).
The Link have it on O2 PAYG for £90, the cheapest I've seen so ...

Longer text messages abroard?30 Oct 2003 21:25 GMT1
Whenever I receive a text message from France, their messages are often
longer than ours (are we allowed 255 characters?) yet they pay a similar
price per text message.
Are text message limits larger abroard (or just in france), and why is this?
