Cheap Pay as you go with no minimum top up or use21 Oct 2003 02:01 GMT5
I'm looking for a mobile for my father. He will use it very very
infrequently so I'm looking for a service that doesn't expect monthly top
ups or use. Just a phone that when he needs it will work just to make voice
calls.

In July I went out with a couple of UK mobiles and bought Vodafone
prepay connection packs for them- but they didn't work. I got by by

It's doubtful anyone can help but i thought worth a try.

turning off by itself, usually a few times a day. I know a lot of people who

Orange email via WAP20 Oct 2003 19:41 GMT17

Luxury/professional mobile - is there anything good?20 Oct 2003 19:12 GMT17
I would guess that current mobile 'phone design trends reflect (and
presumably also inform) what most want but I wonder if there is
market, possibly a high-end cross between the luxury and professional

T610 - Getting good battery life?20 Oct 2003 19:07 GMT3
I've recently bought a SonyEricsson T610. Whats the best way to condition
the battery to give it a long life?
With other phones that I have had I charged the phone and let the battery
die down 'naturally' by not using the phone at all. I did this about 2-3

helpful.

don't think I'll bother with Orange care....
Anyone actually bother with it these days?

I feel like I am banging my head against the wall.
I was on a contract that gave me 300 minutes anytime any network. In
May I was charged for calls that should have been free, it would not
have been so obvious if I hadn't carried over unused minutes onto my
