I am considering buying a genuine full hands free kit for a Nokia 8310. It will be going in a VW Polo (2003 model). I can get the full kit for £70, but the cheapest I can get it fitted is £100.

I've not seen this mentioned here before. Microsoft has released an SMS sending program for Windows XP and above. It is a free download, and sends using your mobile (which can be connected by a cable, IrDA or Bluetooth).

I have had three calls from them as did other members of my family. They say 'You have been on (Orange) contract for 12 moths and now qualify for upgrade.' But as we all are on OVP Virgin, we of course don't.

If I were to get a Treo 600 (say from Orange), would my existing Orange PAYG SIM card work OK in it, including GPRS etc.? And if it was from another company, would I have to get it unlocked same as a normal phone in order to use it on Orange?

Hi -- I use Virgin Mobile and after 3 years of using a Siemens M35 want to upgrade the handset. Virgin have some handsets available on their website, but not a full range. If I buy a "sim free" handset from (for example) Carphone Warehouse, I can still use that on the Virgin network ...
