Tmobile refuse to give PAC!27 Dec 2003 00:59 GMT7
After loads of emails and a call to Tmobile, they refuse to give me my PAC.
They claim the reason is because I refuse to register a password on their
website!  I have no intention of doing so as I have a password with customer
services already.  What if I didn't have a computer?
o2 call barring27 Dec 2003 00:28 GMT1
Just had a reply to my query on call barring on o2 online being a handset
feature and not supported on the network.
I thought in their help pages it said that you should contact your provider
to have it enabled and is useful for going abroad. Do o2 really not offer
Where to get 8310 parts?26 Dec 2003 23:48 GMT2
Had a bit of a mischeif. Looks like I'll be needing to get the soldering
iron out. I reckon I need a new Chassis, SIM holder / connector and SIM
flap. Are there online / mail order phone bits firms with decent prices, or
am I as well off to buy something broken from Ebay?
PAMA in-car handsfree kits26 Dec 2003 23:43 GMT7
Anyone got any experience of these units that plug into the cigarette
socket? I'm torn between one of these and a BT200 for the same price for my
T610.
Google groups = nothing.
Can I choose last 6 or 7 digits of phone no?26 Dec 2003 22:44 GMT20
Is there a UK network that will let me select the last 6 or 7 digits of my
phone number? Either contract or prepay as the number can be PAC'd to
another phone in future.
Many thanks in advance
3510i from CPW26 Dec 2003 22:08 GMT11
Just ordered a 3510i from CPW. The offer's still up, but in the confirmation
email I got, I read the following:
"Please note that all orders placed through the website are subject to
acceptance. While we will of course make every attempt to accept your order,
Beware O2 and your credit reference!26 Dec 2003 21:06 GMT7
Well over a year ago I parted company with O2 because of their inept cutsomer
services. I treminated my contract early and paid whatever I owed. The parting
of the ways was not amical at all;-)
Anyway, I have been knocked back a few times for credit and the most recent
T610 pay monthly?26 Dec 2003 18:34 GMT3
Looking for cheapest contract with a free T610, hopefully Orange or

Any pointers?
Thanks!
Old Analogue Phones26 Dec 2003 17:53 GMT3
This is probably an old chestnut. Sorry if it is.
Is there any system that can use an old (British =>etacs ?) analogue
cellular phone ?
I have an old nec p4 with a car kit. I liked it.
Orange Text Saver question26 Dec 2003 16:48 GMT10
With the Orange text saver, which my daughter has successfully registered
this morning,  is still getting charged 12p per text ?
Is this re-credited later on, or does the registration take a little while
to happen ?

I have found several american sites but no british or european ones.
o2 topup voucher26 Dec 2003 08:48 GMT1
I understand the O2 voucher once used is then linked to the phone and
can be used for further topups. Does anyone know how many cards this
works for. I bought a card for a friend several months ago and wonder
if it is still linked if subsequent topup vouchers have been used.

Is the only way  to enable MMS to call O2 CS @ 50p / minute ?
I have also went round in circles on the O2 web site trying to get the
manaual settings for wap access. I don't have one of the listed phones
whereby you can get the settings text to you.

Does anyone know the deal with Orange Your Plan....can you use your free

rollover?
