| Quick question regarding SIM activation.. | 24 Dec 2003 09:57 GMT | 5 |
When places like Argos say "no refunds after activation" what do they mean by activation? The mere act of putting the SIM in the new phone or do you actually have to ring up the network to activate it? It's an Orange PAYG if that makes any difference..

| BPQ spam text message re 'voice mail' | 24 Dec 2003 09:14 GMT | 5 |
What is the best way of complaining about these? This is essentially fraud but I dont suppose the police would be interested as each fraud is small. I have complained to TPS and ICSTIS but they seem powerless to act, though I cant see why, as its just a plain old fashioned fraud, ...

Just ordered the 3510i CPW deal and forgot to PAC my existing Orange PAYG number. CPW say they can't do it now without cancelling and re-ordering but I'd rather not do that and risk another credit check showing on my file. If I phoned Orange, is there any chance they could
