Apparently Phones4U dson't allow number porting for phones bought on their website, but do on phones bought in-store. Has anyone managed to persuade them to port a number? And can they actually deny it nowadays under current regulations?

I have had the same phone number for 8 years on a Orange contract. I currently have 4 months to run on a 12 month contract. Can I pay myself out of the contract and still transfer the number to another network.

Has anyone ever been annoyed by those companies that answer your call just to tell you to call back later because they're too busy - thus costing you the minimum call charge every time? Well, CPW took this to new heights today...only after keeping me waiting

Historically I always used line advance deals, having a phone that worked fine and unlocked. Just under a year ago my then phone died and the cheapest way to get back in the swing of things was to take a generous deal with a 12 month line rental contract and new phone.

Strange one this, or is it? Basically i've got the BT200 paired with my SE Z600, works ok for voice dialling, answering etc now. However the headset doesnt stay permenantly connected to the phone... when you turn the headset on the <> icons appear

I was going to geta 99 p O2 PAYG SIM, min top up £10/month 300 TXTs inc. Steve Terry said in an earlier post you don't have to top up by £10 a month if you don't want to, and you'll just lose the free texts but still be able to continue to PAYG. Looking at the O2 web site it looks ...

I will go to have a holiday and I will also bring my mobile with me. I have realized that my phone will be on higher risk however I have not purchased the Orange Care. If I purchase one now, will it be effective from the date of purchase or next billing date?
