I just wondered whether it was possible to control a Philips C12 with a laptop connected to it through a data lead? No data calls, just being able to send an SMS message would do the trick for the application I had in mind.

For some reason I have't been able to send txts from my o2 Sony J70. I have the service centre number set up as +447802092035. All I ever get is "Message not sent". Any clues anyone?

I went to the O2 shop down Oxford St and signed up - on a computer online, thought it was strange as I normally sign up on forms. Next day, phoned O2 CS to change my payment method, CS agent told me I was on O2 online. I thought WTF!
