Is it possible to set the SE T610 to store SMS texts on the sim card by default? If not is it possible to set it to automatically transfer SMS texts to the sim card after they have been read?

My friend currently is on vodafone pay as you go (i buy most of the credit!!!). If they change to a contract phone, is it possible for the contract to be in their name, for them to receive the bill but me to pay for it by direct debit from my bank account (different address).
