My friend's (about 2 years old) Nokia 8310 is giving him some problems: His txt messages and contacts are not showing up. When he presses the down button to bring up the list, it shows nothing. Is there a code he can input (similar to the Nokia 7650 - *#3730# IIRC)

If you leave a 3 area I believe the phone roams on O2 - doe the inclusive minutes still apply. The area where I live does not have 3 coverage but I am tempted by the offer. Also do these phones roam abroad Ok?
