7600 on contract06 Mar 2004 23:29 GMT7
I have a Nokia 7600 on contract (Video Text 500 on 3). Really do not like
the phone so can I take the SIM out and transfer it to another 3 phone and
then sell the 7600? Can the  7600 be unlocked when previously on contract
with 3?
Mitsubishi Trium Geo@ WAP Phone and Infrared06 Mar 2004 23:27 GMT1
I am trying to get a Mitusbishi Trium Geo@ WAP Phone to dialup to the
Internet using Windows XP and the infrared port.  I am running Windows XP

Orange Free Customer Service on 0800 801080 finally gone06 Mar 2004 23:15 GMT21
I wondered how much longer it would last! It's finally gone when I tried to
call today. There's just a message now telling you to call 150 from an
Orange phone or 07973100150 from anywhere else!!

The spam SMS saga06 Mar 2004 20:51 GMT2
It seems we have have to put up with speculative unsolicited SMS messages.
Invading our privacy being only a trivial matter, 'don't ya know'?
I have never authorised any person or organisation to send me SMS or voice
calls which I have to pay for.
Phone connection to ISP is analogue?06 Mar 2004 20:23 GMT11
What is the extent to which a mobile call to an ISP (say on an 0845
number etc) from a phone which is data capable is so to speak
'analogue'?
I would have though it was similar in transmission to fax transmissions
Mobile Republic -is their offer too good to be true?!?!06 Mar 2004 20:15 GMT5
Hmmm...are they correct with their subsidised 200 minutes *cross network* a
month or is it one of those "errors"??  That'a £90 a year in total. I'm
dubious about the tarrif "Anytime 200 (no itemised billing)", as this
implies that it's anytime to a landline or Voda mobile, not cross ...
Pitfalls of porting to Three06 Mar 2004 20:03 GMT8
I am currently looking to move to Three and I am considering porting
from Orange. Having looked through the archive I get the impression
this is a bad idea. Has anyone ported recently and what are the
disadvantages?

Best phone for poor signal areas?06 Mar 2004 17:17 GMT5
I'm struggling with GSM at home, which is a poor signal area on
Orange.
I have already given up with a Nokia 8210 and my current phone - an
Ericsson T68i keeps going into "No access", even though two bars of

Sorry I am new to this site, so apologise if this has been done
before.
I am after the customer service managers name with singlepoint, I am having
immense problems with them, they increased part of my bill by 1100%, and are
Price fixing in GPRS.06 Mar 2004 14:28 GMT11
Has anybody noticed?
You can get 1000 minutes anytime for just 75 quid, to basically

Treo 600  anyone know if you can get a memory card / bluetooth combo ?06 Mar 2004 11:49 GMT1
I quite like the Treo having had a palm for many years and can see the
benefits of combining two bits of equipment.
But the memory as standard in the 600 is way too little for all
the stuff I have currently on my palm.  I'd also want to used my
MP3 Phones06 Mar 2004 11:49 GMT4
Hi, I was looking for a mobile phone which can play MP3's but it's

today and was tempted by that! Not sure if it does actually play MP3
though. The woman at the shop said it did but not sure after looking

I have an unlocked Nokia 3200 from O2 it has which has been customised for
O2.  Is there anyway I can restore the phone to the original Nokia factory
settings and remove the customizations?  Somebody suggested flashing the
phone, but I do not how/who or where to get this done from.
