Possible Dodgy phone - Help please06 Mar 2004 11:13 GMT6
I brought a T68i from a woman at my work place. It wasn't until I got back I
realised it was locked to Orange, and I'm on Vodafone. However I had a spare
Orange PAYG Sim Card. I put it in the phone and it came up with "Sim Card
Registration Failed".
6600 video converter06 Mar 2004 10:51 GMT1
What program can I use to convert mpeg clips into something the Nokia 6600
can play? Where can I get it?
Cheers
CARPHONE WAREHOUSE !?06 Mar 2004 10:34 GMT7
This is the first time that I express my anger about a compnay in a
news group, but this is too much.
I have been swished to carphone warehouse by sainsbury's mobile and
since... it's a nightmare.
GX20 repair06 Mar 2004 10:10 GMT2
Ooops My Gx20 got crushed today, the external lcd screen has cracked, luckily
the casing is fine.
Estimates of repair cost and where I could send it please.
If it costs too much I will sell it in ebay and get something else.
GPRS06 Mar 2004 09:50 GMT4
I was wondering about GPRS. According to o2's rules then you get .50mb
to download but it doesn't mention upload.
Does that mean sending e-mails and the general 'transmitting' of data is
free (apart from SMS's) ?
A1comms and 3 ..06 Mar 2004 09:48 GMT8
It seems that A1comms (www.a1comms.co.uk) are doing a cracking deal on
3 .. a free Motorola A835 on VT500 with 12 months 1/2 price line
rental.
Now they are actually marketing the offer as 12 months 1/2 price line
This time, it's a L7089 I've screwed....06 Mar 2004 09:14 GMT7
I'm still trying to get rid of this f'ing @ symbol on a 6310i. It's getting
personal, I'm on a crusade.
I managed to guess the PIN code for the T260 I was going to use, but I don't
think it is CPHS aware because a)it was originally from O2 and b) when I
Pay as you go abroad06 Mar 2004 07:48 GMT4
I am changing one of my phones (Nokia 8310)over to pay as you go from

Siemens and Nokia thoughts...06 Mar 2004 07:29 GMT4
Why is it that everyone bitched about the siemens SX1 keys and then when the not so very new
not so very good nokia 7600 comes out not a SINGLE person seemed to bitch about the keypad
that is really the exact same as the SX1... Specially on a phone that's meant to be a messaging ...

7600 help please06 Mar 2004 07:19 GMT5
At the risk of sounding like a typical blonde, I'm totally at a  loss when
it comes to setting up any sort of internet access on the Nokia 7600. Never
had a phone with WAP/internet etc before other than the 808 on 3 which never
had coverage to connect anyway. With that, you just ...
