Virgin Future30 Apr 2004 23:22 GMT29
Has anyone any idea of what Virgins future plans might be? I read here
that the T-Mobile/Virgin legal battle was over. This leaves us with
Virgin being severely behind the times (re: GPRS ) in a market where
call prices are supposed to be tumbling. Virin scores OK with it's 3p

5210 Twin Sim Battery30 Apr 2004 21:17 GMT3
Been looking for a cheap 5210 twin sim battery and I've found some on
ebay.co.uk that allow you to change between sim cards by typing in *3370#.
I've only seen ones where you have to turn the phone on and off. Are these
any good?

Online Voda 100 tariff30 Apr 2004 20:01 GMT1
Can you keep this tariff when you upgrade in the future?

T610 joystick problem?30 Apr 2004 17:06 GMT3
Had the phone 6 months. Noticed yesterday that you now need to push the
joystick in with more force than before to 'select' (thought at first
it'd stopped working altogether!). Anyone else noticed this?

Nokia communicator file transfer question, can anyone give me pointer, please30 Apr 2004 17:00 GMT1
A mate of mine has just had a replacement communicator sent to him and
he's trying to transfer all his old files.  The problem seem to be that
the new one has newer s/w than the old one (not surprising really, I
suppose) and the files won't go over.  He tried calling Nokia helpline

Porting to Orange query30 Apr 2004 12:42 GMT3
My number is being ported from O2 to Orange today. My O2 phone has had the

However, I still can't dial out or text from the new Orange phone, as there
A835 Services icons30 Apr 2004 10:08 GMT3
I have the A835 services icons problem where the icons show as a 3x3
square of blue dots instead of pictures. Has anybody found a solution?
Don't tell me to get it changed - this is a replacement for my first one
which had problems with some of the buttons not working!
Praise for Voda retail!!30 Apr 2004 08:00 GMT5
The touch screen on my P900 froze this morning, everything else worked but
the screen was unresponsive. Re-booted the phone but the problem persisted.
Full of forboding I took it back to the retail outlet where I bought it
(about 2 months ago). They had a quick look at it and then ...
Expansys "Grade 'B' Stock...30 Apr 2004 02:33 GMT1
After calling at 8am & being told the Grade 'B' Stock department opened
at 9am, I called at 9am. The item I wished to purchase was gone - sold
10 minutes earlier! Why? Because "there happened to be someone in the
office 10 minutes early"!
