Old Orange JT PIN19 Apr 2004 21:04 GMT1
Can anyone advise how I can access an Orange Pay As You Go SIM that is
PIN protected?  (Forgotten PIN number!)
It's a really old SIM, PUK codes etc are lost with the box.  I want to
access the address book (don't need it to make calls).

V600 questions19 Apr 2004 19:18 GMT25
I received my Motorola V600 today (including free Bluetooth headset). Two
questions:
1. Is it meant to be supplied with a cover for the connections at the base
of the phone (the one you use to charge it)? Mine's doesn't but my previous

Virgin SIM Slow to warm up ?19 Apr 2004 17:13 GMT11
I've noticed on two Virgin SIM's I have that they seem to take several
minites before you can actually "access them" - they log on to the
network but the phonebook appears unavaialble for a short time nor can I
read/write to the phone book via IR until they seem "ready".
Philips C12 keeps powering down19 Apr 2004 17:06 GMT16
I have a Philips C12 which powers down with a line across the screen
after a few hours, when charged it shows the full four segments and in
use goes down to three and then two and that is when it cuts off. Any
ideas as to the cause?
Returning to England - Whats hot or not on PAYT?19 Apr 2004 16:48 GMT5
I'll be back in England for about 2.5 months and I wanted to pick up a sim
card for this time.
I'll be probably mostly text messaging with any calls going to
Vodafone/landline. There maybe a bit of time roaming in France for a week or
Convert contract to PAYG19 Apr 2004 16:42 GMT7

VIRGIN ARE CRAP!19 Apr 2004 16:28 GMT10
Thanks go out to CARPHONE WAREHOUSE - they forgot to tell me when i bought a
nice new camera phone that it would be useless on VIRGIN.  Virgin only
provide voice calls and text messages.
No MMS or GPRS as Virgin is a crap network in my opinion.  So I wasted money

Vodafone prepaid dialling outside of Europe19 Apr 2004 14:19 GMT1
What is the "callback" code for Vodafone PAYG/PAYT to place calls
outside Europe?  AFAIK "CAMEL" only works in Europe and outside of
Europe the only way to place calls is by inputting a code where your
phone is called back where you can then place calls.
