Query about stolen mobile telephone13 Apr 2004 10:54 GMT21
I understand that a stolen mobile phone is IMEI blocked in the UK and isn't
able for re-use 'normally'.
However, if that phone is then sold abroad and used on a different network,
will the IMEI blocking still work?
Genie Sim Cards13 Apr 2004 08:30 GMT2
I have 2 friends on Genie contracts (one with a vaguely memorable ported
orange number). They are planning to cancel the contracts within the
next 2 weeks.
The contracts are costing £10/month each & apparently include unlimited

New Orange Contract - faulty handset13 Apr 2004 07:43 GMT5
I have upgraded this week from PAYG onto a square deal and subsequently
received my (free) Motorola V500 on Tuesday.  The phone is very buggy and
keeps freezing up and, whilst I like the design, am not sure I made the
right choice.
Motorola V60013 Apr 2004 00:44 GMT2
I'm thinking of getting this phone. Can someone with experience of it, tell
me about it?
My previous Motorola (I forget the model number) was very quiet (too quiet
to hear at times). Is this one the same?

Steve Terry: Who & What?!12 Apr 2004 22:30 GMT13
Hello Steve Terry!
Just curious to know if you actually work in the telecoms industry, with
your level of knowledge and expertise that you appear to have?!
Also, we all know you as the Orange man, but reading various posts you also
Sendo S330 on Vodaphone call divert feature query12 Apr 2004 21:57 GMT1
I wish to use call divert on my Sendo S330 on Vodaphone.  There are
several applicable settings and the one I have an issue with is the
"divert if no answer" feature.  This redirects an incoming phone call to
my Vodaphone voicemail if the phone isn't answered within 4 rings.  ...
Orange.net, user names, and Microsoft Outlook12 Apr 2004 21:53 GMT15
I'm trying to set up my Orange.net account to work with Microsoft Outlook
but (unusually for the normally excellent Orange website!) I can't find a
single thing about doing it. I've found out the POP and SMTP addresses
through Deja, but I'm not really sure what my username is. Is ...

Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can go to obtain free games for my
Motorola V600. I thought most would be free anyway but have found out
otherwise.
Thanks.

All,

Contracts and changing tariff12 Apr 2004 20:39 GMT10
I read that the telco have now changed the amount of time you can remain on
a tariff before you can change it.  Does anyone know if this is confirmed?
and what amount of time applies for which companys.  Also does it apply to
us that have purchased contracts before they applied the ...
Any tariffs available that offer unlimited free calls to a landline?12 Apr 2004 18:31 GMT28
Anyone know whether anyone offers a tariff that incluses this, it only needs to
be free to one landline number but would be useful to be able to change that
number.
No phone is required, just a sim card.
