After yonks of overpaying for Orange's mundane services I have taken a
look at 3.  Most of the problems seem to stem from 3G network access;
calls dropped when handing off from 3G to 2G networks, poor battery
capacity perhaps as a result, limited content, unreliable handsets.

After reading the good recommendations about FWD Cellular on this
newsgroup, I signed up for a couple of 7210 packages last Monday night.
I've still not recieved the phones and the order says 2-3 days delivery.
Now they've shut their office untill the 19th April (for Easter ...

Is the latest firmware for the T610 R4C003?

I posted a couple of weeks ago about my phonecode locked Siemens. I'm
going to try contacting Orange tomorrow to see if they'll fax Siemens
with my IMEI and account details.  Which number from the list would you
recommend, e.g. Customer Service, Customer Relations

Any good ? offered by Voda as a free upgrade or a t610 for my wife.

The Moto V600 seems to come with a Lithium Ion battery as standard.
It is my understanding that Lithium Polymer batteries would provide better
standby / talk times than Lithium Ion batteries.

I am on the original tariff where texts are now 12p.  I dont make calls from
this handset so feel its a waste for the text to cost me 12p after I have
run out of the 300.  Does anyone know the code to change it to the talkalot
tariff.  As usual o2's crap email service cant ...
