I'm looking for ways to connect to the web while in UK and Europe travelling.I have a Nokia 6510 which can be GPRS enabled and a laptop. I obviously need to connect the 2,would an ordinary data cable do? Can I use an ordinary Vodafone PAYG sim card?

I'd like to sign a new contract with Vodafone and get a Sharp GX30. Before I sign, I got a question to ask anyone here. Is this type of phone locked to Vodafone? Also I'm just curious to ask, is all phone with Vodafone logo on it locked?

Are the changes from June 1 applied retrospectively. i.e. if I buy a phone BEFORE June 1st on a high tariff can I downgrade after 3 months or will the 6 month rule be applied.

Ok, before I decide to buy an NEC e313 and £25 credit I would appreciate it if the following questions were answered: 1) How can a video mobile be so cheap (£39.99) where as other, far less sophisticated phones cost alot more (Such as the Nokia 3100, at £74.99)

How can you tell if a phone has been 'delisted' by all networks after having been reported stolen etc? I have phone which found all networks yesterday and now finds none. I'm just wondering if the vendor might have reported it "stolen" and if so
