Orange and Handspring Treo 60022 May 2004 19:32 GMT2
I've got a Handspring Treo 600 on Orange, but when receiving MMS's from
someone with a Motorola v500 it is throwing out an error message.  Once I
"OK" the message, the MMS comes in OK.
Does anyone else out there own a Treo 600...if so...had this problem?

Hey guys, could you please tell me more about this guy??
I'm not too confident in sending my brand new expensive phone to a complete
stranger, so I'd like to know how reputable this guy is.   (I'm assuming
he's OK, but just to be on the safe side!!!!)

Why did OCS lie to me?22 May 2004 15:05 GMT29
Left my phone at home today and was expecting an important call from my
daughters school.
Phoned OCS explained the situation and asked them about Everyphone. OCS told
me it was not available and there was no other way they could remotely set
Nokia 320022 May 2004 12:47 GMT15
the missus has just bought a Nokia 3200. Is there a way to change the
screensaver (its a scrolling digital clock!) and is there a way to make the
screen light stay on a bit longer than it does?
I have looked and cannot find any settings.
Orange not doing text to landlines22 May 2004 12:30 GMT42
Well, they confirmed on the phone that they are indeed planning to be
the only mobile notwork *not* supporting text to landline numbers...
They have even given my PAC codes to migrate to a network that does.
What can I say! Is the future bright?
3 rant (Sorry)22 May 2004 12:06 GMT12

Supposed to have had my NEC 616 replaced 2 fridays ago now. Still no sign.
Ring 3, get put through to executive office, then retentions. Beth in
retentions says 'Give us £250.00 and we will release you from contract'
Nokia 510022 May 2004 12:02 GMT1
Does anyone have any info on the Nokia 5100? It seems to be a suitable
phone  for my son, but none of the operators seem to be offering it
either as PAYG or Contract.
Is it an oldish model about to become obsolete? Any info on it would
o2 sms to landline?22 May 2004 11:48 GMT5
Anyone know when this will start?
o2 email people said they didn't know (fast reply from them, just not as
helpful as it could have been)
3 network - don't do it!22 May 2004 08:33 GMT18
Last year, I made the big mistake of switching from Vodaphone to 3g.
3g service is awful. It is very unrealiable and very frustrating.
If you turn the phone on when in a poor 3g coverage area, the phone
first tries to find a 3g signal. It then switches to the 2g network.
Contract >>>>>>>>>>> PAYG22 May 2004 03:39 GMT17
Previously at then end of an Orange contract you could convert the sim
into an OVP Virgin sim at no cost and retain the mobile number.
Now that option is gone, can you convert to a PAYG sim and still
retain the number? And will there be any cost in doing so?
phoning Spanish mobiles22 May 2004 03:31 GMT6
A friend of mine just moved to Spain and only has a Spanish mobile (no
landline).  What is the cheapest way to call a Spanish mobile from the
UK? My current provider charges 3p for calls to landlines but 24p to
calls to mobiles which is a bit much for keeping in touch properly.
Value Telecom LTD22 May 2004 03:11 GMT10
Does anyone know who Value Telecom is? I was doing my online banking today
and noticed 2 new direct debits on 2 separate accounts to Value Telecom LTD.
Just tried to phone the bank but closed until 9am :-(
I don't recall setting up any direct debits recently on 2 separate accounts.
Advice re Orange or Vodafone22 May 2004 03:10 GMT1
I have been with Orange for over 5 years.  Haven't had any complaint within
that time!  However I'm looking to upgrade; my 6310i is 14 months old.
Fancied Vodafone, nice range of phones. My concern is that if I renew with
Orange they will continue on their course of discontinuing ...
