Phone advice.....again!22 May 2004 02:49 GMT3
I know that this seems to be a commonly asked question, but my
needs might just be simple enough to get an answer. I have a
T610 at the moment and I hate the thing....the poor reception
when I am actually in an area covered by Orange doesn't help,
Anyone know what happened to the Orange Mailing List?22 May 2004 02:37 GMT2
As per the subject line. The last post was made at the end of April

Perhaps it's just as well.....one less place to keep an eye on!

o answerphone on unlocked Voda 333022 May 2004 01:36 GMT2
I gave my boyfriend an old 3330 which is unlocked but was orginally on
Vodaphone. He's put in his Orange PAYG simcard. I was wondering what will
happen when he recieves an answerphone message because as I understand on
Orange and T-Mobile a little spool symbol appears but on ...
O2 GPRS Question22 May 2004 00:25 GMT5
Is GPRS available for PAYG on O2?
A colleague at work is trying to get his PDA to collect his emails via his
mobile.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
Forward Cellular21 May 2004 23:07 GMT1
benn trying all day to contact Forward Cellular, but although my call is
important to them, they never answer. Presumably the penny or two a
minute rake-off on their 0870 number is more important, even though it's
their order line I'm trying for!
Can you port a number........21 May 2004 23:06 GMT2
From Orange PAYG to Orange Contract?
I am paying up my contract and will probably port over to Orange PAYG to
keep the number.  Orange said they can do this for free.
Can I port back if I decide to take another contract with them at a later
Nokia or Sony Ericsson21 May 2004 23:01 GMT4
I have just had to return 2 Nokia 6310i's as they do not allow
bluetooth connection to my HP Compaq Tablet PC (TC1100). There is a
major problem with Nokia Sofware not being compatible with the built
in Bluetooth chipset. This was a great supprise as Nokia are supposed
Vodafone Mail query21 May 2004 22:45 GMT1
I've been a Voda (Anytime 200) customer for a little while (Sharp GX20
phone) and only just discovered the Vodafone Mail service at
www.vodafone.net I'm most interested in getting access to my e-mails. (Not
necessarily sending lengthy replies)
Two UK Tri-Band Vodafones go to the USA21 May 2004 22:22 GMT5
A friend took two Nokia tri-band phones with working contract Vodaphone
SIM's to USA. Both phones were confirmed before departure by Vodafone to
unblocked and unbarred in any way. When in the USA both phones roamed to
T-Mobile. When one phone dialled the other (with +44 prefix ...
OVP-VM charges for 0844/0870/0871?21 May 2004 21:52 GMT11
I know this has come up before, but I couldn't find a definitive answer, and
things may have changed anyway.  Anyone know what the current charges on
OVP-VM are for 0844 & 0870/1 numbers?  OCS claim it's the usual 15/5ppm
rate but I'm not sure I believe them - it sounded like a ...
PC to mobile texting21 May 2004 21:35 GMT1
We've just installed SMS Master in our office to send text messages to
staff when they're out of the office.  Immediately worked fine to
Vodafone mobiles but not to Orange mobiles.  It seems that the Orange
system is TAP compliant and needs a password - cost 20 pounds to setup
sony erricson T63021 May 2004 21:08 GMT2
I currently have a nokia 6100 and my orange contract has ended now i am
bored of this phone, has anyone got any opinions on the T630? I don't like
flip phones at all so they are a no no.
Cheers.
Am I going crazy21 May 2004 19:34 GMT9
Hi all, sorry if this post is not appropriate for this group, it's my first
time.
I am either being overcharged by O2 on the talkalot tariff or I am missing
something big time. Would really appreciate it if someone would check the
Gold Number21 May 2004 19:09 GMT14
I have an O2 contract which has a rubbish number. I recently got my father a
new Vodafone connection and we were able to choose a number from a list of
100's.
Is there anyway of me getting a more memorable number and replacing my
Please advise:  what comes in the box with an NEC e313?21 May 2004 17:52 GMT1
