Has anyone got a Samsung C100 to work reliably with data (CSD) calls using IrDA and Windows XP? It connects initially but every few seconds when data is being transferred Windows gives the "device out of range" warning and it times

A friend of mine who is on orange and has insuarance had his phone stolen while in prague he reported this to the british embassy but not the police. Therefore orange have refused to send a replacement phone and want £50 to replace the sim.
