Vodafone Message Centre number.  Would they still be 12p for ...

We have been told by the manufacturer of a piece of scientific
equipment that we use in our workplace that exposure to electromagnetic
field strengths of 3V/m or more at multiple frequency bands will have
an adverse effect on its performance. Specific mention is made of the

How does 999 work?14 May 2004 15:09 GMT9
How does 999 work with mobile phones:
1: If I dial 999?
2: If I dial an area code prefix in front of 999 - e.g 0161999? Does it
direct to the local emergency services centre for the region you are in?

ACE virus - is it a scam?14 May 2004 12:28 GMT13

transferring contacts by bluetooth from T610 to Motorolla V60014 May 2004 10:55 GMT2
I've successfully registered the V600 with my T610 over bluetooth.
When I do a 'send all' from the 610's phonebook menu, it *seems* to
work.
The 610 says 'Sending to Motorola Phone', and the V600 says that it's
Activating GPRS on Virgin.14 May 2004 10:17 GMT10
I am on the Virgin pay as you go package.  I had a Virgin phone which I
really didn't like - it was a Nokia 3510i.
My brother is on the O2 network and recently got a free phone as part of his
contract - a Nokia 3200, he didn't need it so decided to give it to me (I

I have just got a phone which is compatible with mms, so I decided to test
it. When I tried to use it I get a message asking me to activate it with O2

Just tried to ring the number and it appears the o2 customer service number
2 sims, 1 number14 May 2004 06:49 GMT2
I'm on OVP but used to be on pay monthly.
Have just "found" an old Orange sim which seems to have my current number.
Is this my old pay monthly sim?
Can I use it now? Would I end up back on a pay monthly contact?
Nokia HDS-3 stereo headset question14 May 2004 05:06 GMT6
Can someone with this stereo headset please help me with something?
From various places on the web I've read that this headset has a 'mini-clip'
on it, but I'm not sure what this refers to. I *thought* it would feature a
clip to hold the remote button/controller part in place so you ...
Boomerang (Americom) - Not Exactly Dead.14 May 2004 03:04 GMT1
If you have an old Americom account you didn't explicitly closed when they
announced the closure, it still works.
Mine triggered for some reason (someone got a wrong number?), so I thought
