I was fancying a Nokia 6110 as backup for my 6210 - share batteries, charger, hands-free etc. and the 6110 comes cheaper. I thought the 6110 was a single band phone which came either at 900 or 1800MHz but not both.

I have never known the mobile market to be so bad. I tried to buy a new phone the other week and all I was offered was junk and gimmicks. I just don't happen to like clam shell phones (I believe many in this NG don't either). So after ignoring the clamp shells what was left?

I have an unlocked phone from Virgin and I am using it on Orange. I tried setting the details from http://www.cctvsafe.com/support/phone_settings.htm but I can not get it to work. Whenever I try to connect I get Network Unavailable.

My employer has finally decided to buy some company mobiles for my dept, and as we may need to make some data transmission calls, which is the cheapest Nokia (or other brand maybe) which can handle data calls from a laptop, by infrared or datacable at the very least.
