I have a T-Mobile V600 and it plays really annoying T-Mobile tunes when it
powers-up and closes down.
Is there any way of disabling this or (failing that) to change the tunes
when I switch on/off?

I have two Orange sims, one of which has line 2 on it (Virgin L1 and
Chat 60 L2). The other sim has Select 500 on it.
Problem is, I want to swap the L1 numbers between sims, as I want to
use the Select 500 sim, but the number everyone has for me is on the

Does anyone know what the cost of an SMS to a landline costs from Vodafone?
Is it like a standard sms? And will it come out of my inclusive text bundle?

Does anyone know, if GPRS is available on any PAYG tariff, I  have an XDA2
and it appears the only way I can get full Internet access is by GPRS, WAP
is no problem of course, but very limited in content.
I'm wondering if there is a network that allows GPRS per Mb or Kb of data

I want a Vodafone Spain sim for 6 weeks away in Spain. CPW don't seem
to do them now, can I get one at a reasonable priced one whilst I'm
still in UK?

I  have  downloaded the DCT-4 unlocking calculator a few months ago and have
used it several times successfully.
Unfortunately I made a mistake whilst trying to unlock a 5100 today, I
entered the IMEI number ok but entered the network that it was currently
O2 and their payment reminders08 May 2004 22:58 GMT3
Received my first bill from O2 recently - it was dated the 24th April,
and asked that payment be made by May 8th (today).
Anyway I made payment on Thursday at the bank, and later that day (yep
the post is that bad) .. received a reminder saying the bill was late
