Anyone tried cancelling an O2 contract recently?19 Jun 2004 10:07 GMT6
I've called 02 Customer Services 4 times over the last week to try to cancel
a contract - each time I eventually manage to speak to a human, I'm told
"sorry our systems are down at the moment - can you call back tomorrow?"
Call me cynical, but is this just a way to stop customers ...
Singlepoint to Voda PAYG?19 Jun 2004 01:02 GMT6
Is it possible to switch a Singlepoint off-peak contract (600 mins
off-peak) to Voda PAYG? Or better yet, something like OVP virgin where
you post-pay but are only charged for the calls you make.
Hardly use mine now that BT's off-peak calls are so cheap.
Calling Free numbers in the Netherlands19 Jun 2004 00:52 GMT1
It used to be the case that all Dutch mobile networks allowed you to
call freefone numbers for free while roaming on their networks with your
UK phone.
Is this still the case? If so can anyone recommend a cheap calling card

O2 Monthly18 Jun 2004 19:21 GMT4
Hi, just set my son up with a O2 monthly account. Is there any way of
checking usage throughout the month like I do with my Orange account by
pressing 152?
What about the txt messages? Can I check the number he's sent?
3 email problem18 Jun 2004 18:42 GMT6
Can anyone suggest what I have to do to access attachments to 3 mail?
Can send and receive regular mail quite simply, but when it comes to
attachments, only pics get through. Vids and mp3s won't work, though they
seem to be occupying space so must be there.
NEC E61 problem18 Jun 2004 15:47 GMT1
A friend has an NEC E616 can download MP3s which play just fine but can't
select them as a ring tone. He knows someone with a 3 LG phone who does this
no problem. He rang tech support who said it's because the MP3s may be
copywrited! We think that's crap, can anyone confirm either ...

T630 or 6600?18 Jun 2004 15:35 GMT3
I'm currently looking for a new phone, as I'm on an old Genie contract that
doesn't include upgrades or subsidised handsets so have been using the same
8210 for about 4 years now IIRC. I'm going to cancel my Genie ED50 ish
tariff and just go for another o2 one, as I'm not using all ...
