i have a Nokia 8310 which I have lost the security code. The default
12345 does not work, i have read posts saying that logomanager will
display the code... It doesn't!!!! I now have dct4 tweak and a
datacable, and the software says it is reseting the security code,

Is it right that bank holidays are now off peak all day like a
weekend...........I heard this somewhere but wanted to double check before
using my phone as i do on a weekend.......

Is there any tips to get a contract on Vodafone? I've read that if you have
a credit card and at least £59 on it they will give you one? is that true?

Can a mobile be wired up to record to eg. a tape walkman recorder? I
have seen cables in Radio Shack to do this overseas, but nothing in
the UK. Any particular make better than the others for this purpose?
Nokia doesn't seem to have any recording leads at all for its pinout.

I have just upgraded to a Nokia 6600 and bought a Jabra headset (very good
btw) only I am struggling as when the headset is 'connected' the phone
doesn't ring!
I have been through every config option, and even been reduced to reading

My wife's mother left her phone turned off for a period of time (maybe
hours, at most a day or two).  When she turned it back on she received a
text message saying "xxxx calling, call home." where xxxx was a nickname
which my wife only uses with close family.

What is the text message capacity for an e313? On the NEC website it states
4 MB for messaging (inc. SMS, picture messages etc). I have no picture
messgaes, or video messages or anything like that, only SMS, at 0.1 KB each.
I'm right in thinking this means 40,000 text messages? ...

been getting invalid access point all weekend and the last 2 days when
