OSPS seem to be doing 12 months half price line rental with the nice LG

Decided I wanted a new handset, a 6230. I'm still in contract with Orange
and so they won't give me one. Fair enough. I have started a new contract

I have a 6100 locked on Orange and wonder if anyone knows what the latest
software/firmware is for this phone.  On mine, if you enter a birthday in
the calendar it asks for the year of birth of the person. If you don't know
this it won't let you progress!!!  I also have a 6610i and ...

Just look at my CD today and it is wrapped :-( so I can't install
activesync to install other programs, the mobile drivers, etc..
Does anyone know a site to download it, or can send me a copy?
Since Motorola and Orange both do not have the CD anymore :-(

Is it me, or has Orange started to work hard to avoid paying out on their
phone insurance? I, my family and business partners, have had Orange phones
for a while now and have had to claim for stolen/broken/lost phones every

I'm trying to unlock a Nokia 8310 using codes I've got from uniquephones.com
According to the instructions, when a code is entered, after # at the end it
should display either "SIM restriction off", "Code error" or "Can't undo
restriction".

Where online is the best place to buy different or unusual mobiles, you
know, something that isn't a Nokia or Sony etc?

Having contacted BT Mobile about getting the MMS settings for a Nokia 6230
that they've just wold me, this is the reply I received:  Can you believe
this?  It's not exactly like BT or Nokia are small companies.

I just managed to drop my phone(nokia3510) into the washing up bowl.
At the moment it won't switch on but what are the chances of it drying
out and living again ?

Does anyone know what the MMS  and GPRS/WAP settings should be for BT Mobile
(not O2), and more specifically the 6230.  BT Mobile have repeatedly sent
them to me, only for me to find them blank or incomplete.  They now say they
should have a new set by Monday, but I'm confused as to ...
