I need a new mobile phone, and want one which will enable me to check
emails on my Laptop whilst occasionally away. I am happy using PAYG, -
my phone usage is low- but need GPRS.
I am thinking of getting a Sony E T610 phone, possibly on Orange

I got one of these phones for free - won in a raffle. It's a nice phone
albeit cheap and with tiny buttons for my fat fingers!

I have a Samsung T100 mobile which has developed a strange fault. The
charging indicator is showing that the phone is being charged all the
time, without any charger being plugged in. Even if you switch the
phone off, it will start to show charging after a five second delay.

Can anyone think of a reason why an ex T-mobile Nokia 3510i, now unlocked,
and a contract Vodaphone SIM would not work together ? Every 1-3 minutes the
message Insert SIM appears, virtually instantly the Vodaphone How Are You
screen appears then the phone returns to what ever part ...

I have had enough with contracted phones and am gonna switch to PAYG. I have
been looking at the Fresh network and it sounds really excellent for me, can
you get phones like the new 6230 and k700 on this network if not which PAYG
networks offer these newer phones?

It's upgrade time, and I'm torn between the SonyEricsson T610 and the
Motorola V500.
(I know, I should be going for the T630, but I'm on Orange. *Thanks*,
Orange, will you ever get your walled garden of handsets just right?)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but given that Orange has a somewhat
dictat\\\\\\paternalistic attitude towards its customers..
If you buy an upgrade phone for an Orange contract through an
independent retailer (rather than from Orange directly), does this count

Had my current Nokia 6100 on Orange for over a year now and although it's
probably been the most reliable and stable phone I've ever owned, it's taken
a bit of a battering so now it's time to upgrade. Unfortunately I've been a

When 12 months is up, it's possible to go on PAYG on O with same number, is
it not?
But is it possible a few months later to get a new O contract and keep the

Ordered a Nokia 6230 phone from their website. After placing order in
the morning tried to cancel it as I was leaving UK (came to know only
in afternoon). But no reply from customer service or support. The
phone no in their order confirmation email is constantly engaged,

I have a NK 6100 which when you switch on does nothing and says only
"Contact Service" - is there any way to get rid of this and make the phone
work or is it just scrap ?

Want to get my old Nokia 6100 (now on Orange PAYG) working with my 3
